All Star Break Roster Reminders

If you have anyone on the long term IL that has returned....the all star break will be when they're first eligible to come off the long term IL and they'll be required to move back to the MLB roster

Secondly, I believe we all agreed that the all star break and the offseason is when MILB guys are required to be promoted once they're reaching their AB/IP limits....I tried to find the thread where we voted on this but can't find it. I swear that is what we agreed upon so it's easier for admins to track. For example, I have Austin Wells who is now at 211 AB's and I still have him in MILB but during the all star break i'll be required to permanently move him up to the MLB roster. Assuming I'm not wrong here and nobody has any objections maybe this week I'll go into spreadsheet and highlight everyones MILB guys that are nearing/passing their limits

This will likely force a lot of teams to make some adjustments and maybe even force trades/releases.

The MILB/MLB call ups I'll chip away at that soon and prob make a different post about it since nobody seems to object to the midseason call up requirements

Over the limit (or will be) prospects by team:

Dbacks: None
Braves: None
Orioles: None
Boston: None
Cubs: Bryce Elder (who is currently in the minors for real)
White Sox: Oscar Colas and Matt Wallner (both also currently in the minors for real)
Rockies: Alex Jackson
Houston: None
Royals: Lawrence Butler and Max Schuemann. Butler already is, Max will be by the break. Maybe Parker Meadows if he gets called back up.
Dodgers: Chris Martin, the ancient reliever is in his minors, so I dunno what that's about. Other than that, unless Butto pitches a lot, none.
Miami: None
Mets: Enmanuel Valdez and Dominic Canzone, which he obviously knows about.
Yankees: None
Oakland: Austin Wells
Padres: possibly Hunter Goodman or Lucas Erceg
Giants: possibly Otto Lopez or Cooper Criswell
Mariners: None
Cardinals: None
Tampa: Estevan Florial (currently in the minors for real)
Toronto: Ji-Hwan Bae, Casey Schmitt (both currently in real minors) Lenyn Sosa, Joey Wentz

I went ahead and moved chris martin to his MLB bench on the google sheet he was still on MLB

Week 16 is Allstar week but it is only a one week matchup. So are we only going to have a 3-4 game matchup? Another league I know combines the week after.

I feel like that's how it was set last year and I just looked in the fantrax settings and the option to merge asg week with the following week is already selected. I'll see if I can email fantrax and see what they say

I did put a ticket in and I also checked our 2023 schedule did have a two week period for the as break

Update on this, fantrax responded and they'll have to manually merge that ASG week...me and padres were trying to get the playoffs sorted out so I'll have them extend the ASG week into the immediate week after

playoffs will look like

period 22 (aug 26-sept 1) - wild card
period 23 (sept 2-sept 8) - 2nd round
period 24 (sept 9-sept 15) - semi finals
period 25 (sept 16-sept 29) - championship period
