MiLB Draft 2015

Our first MiLB Draft is just around the corner and I cannot wait to get started. 
Here`s the final information for you to get ready. Feel free to ask question in this thread. 


1. Draft Date: October 17th, 2015
2. Time: 12 PM (EST)
3. Frame: 5 Rounds
4. Draft Style: Non Snaking
5. Time Window: 12H (You can send your picks to a league official. Check out this thread: GUIDE: how to send picks to someone)
6. Eligible MLB Player: Player that got drafted by an MLB organisation (High School Players are not eligible) plus the 
7. Eligible International Players: Players that are on the list underneath the information)
8. Wrong picks: If a managers makes a wrong pick, he will not be punished. The draft will not stop. The manager will be notified per Mail and
Proboards message and makes his pick as soon as he is online again. Therefore, check your picks carefully, because if the draft is moving you
might lose a lot of spots. Furthermore, if you pick a wrong guy you cannot pick any player that was picked after you. You have to have someone
who was not drafted yet.
9. Trading: Trading is not allowed before the Draft is over. All teams start off the same way.
10. FUN: I will post a funny baseball video with every draft round. We all love Fantasy Baseball, but this is still a game and we should have fun.

Clarification on a few things please.
1. I see Yadier Alvarez listed under the INT FA's at #1 but he's currently on the ARI MILB roster. I believe ARI was awarded Alvarez last off season.
2. Your ref #6 about HS players, you're saying we cannot draft them or we can? Or do you mean "current" HS players who have not been drafted?
3. Your ref #6 again, so a player can be selected by the league who doesn't have a current MLB contract? For example, Kyle Funkhouser was selected and did not sign and then returned to college. Is this type of player eligible for our draft?
4. Maybe it's me but #6 ends with the players listed below in #7 but under the title of the INT FA's it ends with, "... after the draft too." So my question is can we select any player on the INT FA listing above during our draft?

1. Thanks , will be corrected.
2. Current HS player cannot be signed and player from the draft they didn't sign with a team cannot be drafted either.
3. No, Funkhouser is not eligible (same with Brady Aiken last year)
4. Yes, you can. After the draft is over all the International free agents and all drafted MLB players turn unto free agents and can be picked up.

So, I guess I have to ask. With all the rules to who we can and who we can't draft. Is it possible to give a list of available players that we can pick? Because this sounds much trickier than I expected. Or, maybe, give us a place to find who is eligible? It took me forever to find who has signed and who hasn't. What if the person signs after the draft and they would have been taken in the top 10 and the first person to pick him up gets him. Doesn't sound fair. I think that if a real MLB team has to take a chance that the player signs with them, we should be able to sign anybody who was taken in the 2015 mlb draft. We take the chance on hold on to them at our own risk and if it doesn't work out, we drop them before the next draft and get a compensatory pick. Thoughts?

It is pretty easy to find out if a player signed or not. Just google their name with MILB behind it, usually if they have a page they signed a contract. I thought it was pretty straight forward, if he was drafted in the 2015 June Draft and signed or is an international FA coming up that player can be picked. Am I missing something?

There is no way a player who hasn't signed yet does. Draft picks have a deadline to reach a contract, so what you see is what you get with rookies. No way someone hasn't signed and will sign in some time, and International players almost always sign, so there's no way such a problem happens

No way a player has not signed yet. There is essentially one prospect that did not sign. He is not eliglible. 
Here is a lost of all MLB Players that got drafted and it tells you if they signed or if the have no signed. 
It is a standard rule that only signed players are eligible. And we are going to stick to it. 
There are not a lot of players that do not sign. So nothing to worry here.

And like LA said, there is a deadline for drafted players to sign and it has already past so there is nothing to worry about
