Over the next couple of weeks I'll chip away at updating the Google spreadsheet and updating the forum where it needs to be. Today I added all the projected arbitration salaries to each team for 2025 so you can have an idea how your cap looks for next year. Plans over the next few weeks - Will remove 2024 from Google Spreadsheet
- Post some polls for rule and/or eligibility changes
- Update the UFA/Options Posts on the forum
- Few of us are looking to replace the Mariners owner
Renew Fantrax DONE
Not sure on when we'll reopen trading because we need to get the above done first and I can chip away at stuff but I don't want to put any deadlines on myself or anyone else. I'm self employed so my free time really depends on whether I have any clients cancel their appts on a given day. Am I missing anything? Thoughts? Questions?

Fantrax is renewed and the league schedule is setup for 2025
We're gonna do a 19 week regular season opposed to 20 week so each team is playing each other just once. Last year each owner had to play one team twice, one owner randomly plays the #20 seed twice and another randomly plays the #1 seed twice. 19 weeks makes it as fair as can be with all of us having one matchup against the 19 opposing teams.
The first period will be a two week merge like last year, the all star break week will be a two week merge like last year.
Playoffs will now be: 1 week > wild card 1 week > wild card winners vs teams that had a bye 2 weeks > nl/al championship (added a week here) 2 weeks > world series
The draft is set for January 20th because I had to pick a date to complete the setup for renewal. In the past it was earlier in January but admins agreed we don't want the extra workload immediately after Xmas vacations

That sounds good. Here is another suggestion. What if we just do the NL/AL Championship 1 week but move the world series up a week? So that way, nobody plays that last week of the season. That way, nobody is affected by players getting rest. Just like in Athletic's situation, Severino didn't pitch his last game because it wasn't needed. You just hate to have a matchup that close go a certain way just because of that. And the last day of the world series is the last game of the year...some players might not even play that game.

I meant to respond, I would be fine putting this in the voting area. Honestly, my team hit like hot garbage the final two weeks of the season, and then that first week Kyle Schwarber destroyed me and Jonah Bride had the week of his life in the 2nd week. My hitting just fell off the map. I think I was beating Giants or at least tied (and had the tiebreaker) and my era and/or whip was ahead of his and then troy taylor came into pitch for mariners and randy arozerna misplayed a seemingly routine single and it was like a 2 rbi double instead when he let it go to the wall. Just wasn't meant to be. Those last few days are kind've unknowns in the regular season but I also feel like it's more likely than not in the NL/AL championship by having it as two weeks its more probable than not the better overall team will come out on top. So I didn't feel screwed by any means that Severino didn't make that last start. I was actually more irked that the astros game got cancelled and I missed out of potential 8 abs with kyle tucker and altuve

Yeah I can see both points. I like the NL and AL championship being 2 weeks as well. I know we don’t have room for both options. And during the year, some matchups could possibly be won or loss by a rainout so that is part of the game.
