Phillies accept the trade
I needed reinforcement in RP pitching and believe that in Kerkering I have got a future light out pitcher with a high closer potential. It was with a heavy heart that I had to give up one of my best prospects for this, but I think Kerkering is worth it. I wish Kansas City all the best and lots of success and hope that in Jenkins they get the prospect who will be successful.
