This was a tough call. Skubal has really developed into an ace and looks like he will continue to get better. I planned to hold him unless I received an opportunity I could not turn down and acquiring a top 3 overall prospect with the offensive skills Holliday has fit the bill. I love his plate discipline and the potential he has as an all around offensive contributor. Despite his struggles in his first taste of big league pitching (at only 20), I am a firm believer in him and think he will be up sooner rather than later to cement my MI.
Hope Skubal works out AZ! My pitching staff will miss him.
