The way this year falls, we have a 4 week playoff system with a 2 week championship. The season starts on March 20th with the two games in Korea. The first week's matchup will merge the first 3 weeks of the season ending on April 7th. Right now, that gives us 21 weeks in the season. That means every team will play 3 random teams twice. I'm not sure how to fill the schedule to make it only a 19 week season like normal. Any thoughts?

Maybe just have 1 dead week in the middle of season and that will get us down to just two weeks.. Like a break

Or make each playoff round 2 weeks? Is there enough time for that?

If we did 2 week rounds, we would have enough time to make every round except for the wildcard round be two weeks. But I'm checking with Fantrax to see if it is possible to change the matchups to two weeks.

I think having the playoffs two weeks makes all the matchups mean more and gives it a less flukey feel. For example let’s say you are the number one seed and lose only a week or two all season and your hitters all of a sudden go ice cold and you get beat in the playoffs. It would suck and sometimes teams matchup better against other teams, but it would extend the matchups and give the losing team during the matchup a chance at rebounding during that matchup.
Just my thoughts Even if we have to shave a week off the regular season it’s worth it to me to make the playoffs mean more all the way around.

Thank you for all the help. That worked out perfect to do double week playoff matches. Fantrax lets us do it. So the wildcard round will be one week round. Then the rest of the rounds are two weeks long.
