Figured it wouldn’t hurt to have a little discussion thread to discuss the FA moves. Some teams making big use of their cap space is nice to see.
One interesting thing to me is Judge only going for 18M but Harper going well over 40M a year at the moment. Both have had recent history with injuries, but Judge has multi position eligibility and still went for ~30M less than Harper.
In my opinion, KC got an absolute steal for Judge especially if he ends up hitting behind Soto in that lineup.

Yeah it's insane how he only went for 18m in comparison. I only kept after Harper cause I had the discount and knew I couldn't throw stacks at both. Oh well

I don’t know if Judge went so cheap because there wasn’t a lot of teams active early on? Or just unnoticed?
I think this year’s auctions have been fun. I hope that te prices of free agents stays like this for years to come. It will make it more appealing to decline a real life contract if you can hope to get them cheaper with auctions. Harper is high because other bidders were competing against a discount. Other teams were having to go to $40 to match his $30.
I am glad we did everybody at once. That was more fun I think.
I am glad that we had our newest managers participate and really put their own identity in their team. So thank you for participating.

I got Covid and completely lost track it was FA till last night. He would have went for more if that didn't happen.

Seems like a lot of the normal players in FA finally had cap space issues catch up to them (at least I did), so hopefully we see some more parity in the league going forward. I agree doing all of FA at once is better. Requires people to be more active on here as well
