Simply because I think SS is a very weak position in general and adding depth at this position is always good.
Baldo does not yet look good but I think the Angels know what they are doing. Age is on his side and I willing
to gamble here.

I remember when Hannes was running up the bid for this INT FA so I figured I would reach out to Hannes about a trade.
In a matter of a few emails we had this agreement. The bottom line for me is as time has gone by I have lost interest in this MILB player.
For me this was a salary dump and nothing else; I did not want to pay his yearly salary of 4.5M once he is called up.
My goal was to recover the 3.375M signing bonus but I am happy to take a loss of 1.35M.
