I am really infuriated right now. A playoff tie breaker should not be determined if you lost to a team in the regular season. Especially with the long season we have and injuries.
This needs to be addressed, bc I don't lock in my time in this league to be spear headed in the playoffs.
I was tied with white Soxs but I had more cats won overall! That should be the tie breaker!
I also feel for Arizona who tied with Cubs! Although I don't know who won more cats the fact that he's just tossed away in a tie breaker bc he lost in the regular season is wrong as well!
Again this is not right and needs to be addressed immediately

I've been in the league for 4-5 years and that's how it's been as long as I remember.
It's also that way to get into the playoffs.
It would be too late to change any rule for this current season but I'm sure you could prob make the suggestion and it get voted on in the offseason.

There needs to be a new system in place anyways think about this what if you tied somebody in the regular season and your tied in the playoffs then who wins the tiebreaker?

I’m open to vote on it in the offseason. Using highest seed would make more of the whole season count than just one week.

If we would have had the tie-breaker be the highest seed, both matchups would have had the same result. Cubs were #2 seed against Diamondbacks #11. White Sox were #6 while Mariners were #12.

All that type stuff just comes down to votes I've wanted plenty of changes like offseason IL for tjs guys but they got voted down I think offseason IL should be voted on again with the amount of long term injuries we’re seeing recently. We shouldn’t be handicapped in the offseason by roster space just because we have a few guys who had TJ this season. |

I think offseason IL should be voted on again with the amount of long term injuries we’re seeing recently. The other side basically wants to keep it closer to real life mlb where that isn't allowed. I think it’s worth revisiting, especially with the rule change last offseason removing the DEV roster. I personally have 5 guys who would normally be eligible for DEV roster but now have to take up an extra roster spot + 2 TJ guys (Ray/Garcia). Sort of punishes good owners for having too much quality depth since we don’t have a 40 man roster like in the MLB. |
