I am trying to fill my league. This isn't your typical snake draft.
We do an Auction Superflex IDP league. Sounds crazy but it makes sense... you balance your budget. It really is a fun a league. Like the name of the league is spend it wisely because that is what it really comes down too...
I think Mahomes went for like 98 or something... that is almost 1/3 of your budget for 1 guy... you have 28 roster spots to fill. The premium is on QB's as you can play 3 of them. QB's tend to earn you the most points from an individual player because it's PPR and they get bonus's if they throw over 400. WR have a high ceiling but tend to be inconsistent large point scorer's while RB's tend to be a consistent amount of points with a decent ceiling. IDP players tend to go during the 1$ draft portion... but the top defensive players I've seen go for like 20$
The draft takes 2+ hours but it goes by really quick. I have 9 spots filled (As long as Dodgers is coming back) and we play with either 10,12,14,16 managers... The challenge goes up with more managers and is quite difficult but so rewarding if you pull off the victory.
You won't have to spend alot of time throughout the season on the waiver wire as it will be really thin. Most of the work comes down to the draft and then just setting your starters for the season and adjust for injuries... as close to set it and forget it as you can... you just have to spend it wisely.
The point system has been balanced over the course of 12+ years. The original creator plays in this league and kind of recruits out of it sometimes lol. I draft in both.
