I want to bring this up again. I know we talked about it in the past. But I believe it would create more activity and participation even more. But how would we feel about having 3 managers being on a trade committee? They would look over all the trades and would approve or deny them. We haven't had many issues with trades in our years but it is always good to have a system in place.
Goals:
We wouldn't want the trade committee to micro-manage the teams. Cause we know each manager has a right to make their own choices for their team. But the trade committee's priority would be to look out for the integrity of the league. We know there will be some questionable trades and sometimes you don't know who the actual winner is.
Please let me know if you are interested in joining the committee.

I am not opposed , but what if the trade involves 1 or more members of the committee , who reviews for them

I’m on board for this. Seems like there’s been more and more lopsided trades over the last offseason. How would this committee be chosen?

It would strictly be volunteer. We could have 4 or 5 members and if any of them are involved in the trade, you would then just have the remaining 2-3 members to review.

In favor.
I also assumed we were required to explain why we're making the trade when posting it but most times people dont do that or just post that they agree. So enforcing that would clear up some of the questionable trades.
Some lopsided trades can make sense in the proper context. Some trades seem to not offer fair value in any context and those should prob be cancelled.

I'm in favor but say 1 committe member has a family emergency ir somethings and can't get on that day or let anyone know... would one have to wait on that one member or what

We could do 3 approvals and the trade passes.

So far we have the Astros, Mets, and Dodgers. Do we have any one else? We can start with the three if not.

I guess the part about the trade committee not micro managing teams , not to mention that each manager has the right to make their own choices for their team , and I don’t believe the trade between me and the Mets threatened the integrity of the league …. This entire paragraph of yours was ignored as far as I can see just sayin ,

Early returns suggest this was a terrible idea.
