What do you guys think about letting anyone be drafted that is available? Right now, they have to be signed by February 1st in time for our draft. But what if they sign on February 2nd? They will sit in limbo until the next draft. And we usually have someone draft a player that is on fantrax but not signed by mistake. What do you think about letting teams draft a player even if they aren't signed?
Another one would be international players not signed by February 1st.
If a team wants to spend a draft pick on a player not signed, that is their choice.

Just to clarify, this would be for prospects that have been already drafted by a MLB team but not yet signed. And any available prospects and international free agents. It would not be for college players that have not been drafted yet.
Thank you, Jeff for the question and clearing it up.

I think we all know this is NOT a topic I should weigh in on.
