Texas Rangers would have ultimate decision at the conclusion of the bidding as to either accept the winning bid and retain the player with that salary, or, let the winning bidder keep the player as his own. If the Texas Rangers let the player go to the winning bidder, the Texas Rangers may or may not be entitled to draft pick compensation, based on the League's by-laws regarding Restricted Free Agents. The potential draft pick would not be taken away from the winning bidder, but would be a supplemental pick based on the league's By-Laws.
The initial bid by the Texas Rangers is 3+ @$500,000

I am going to keep Joc Pederson with the winning contract (3+ @6mm).
Can I add him back to my MLB in Fantrax?
