Maybe this is a mute point.
Have we already eliminated the MILB Lower Minors? It seems that with our conversion to Fantrax, it becomes much more work for Bryan.
Can we just go to a 30 player MILB and eliminate the 25/5?

Can we just go to a 30 player MILB and eliminate the 25/5? That would work for me. The MILB is the same on Fantrax for low minors, dev roster, and regular minors. It would actually make sense for people that don’t have any draft picks. They can just add more MILB players. And if you have 6 picks you have to make room for them.

If possible, can we address this as soon as possible once the League Championship is decided. The reason being that there may be a significant amount of roster turnover once we end our 2020 season and begin 2021. This could result in teams dropping MILB players to accommodate roster crunches.
To take it a step forward, I would like to adjust my suggestion for the MILB roster:
1) Increase the roster size to 35 players, plus 5 DEVE, and 1 N/A. Total = 41.
2) Eliminate the "Lower Minors" designation, as it is too time consuming from an administrative point of view.
Given the circumstances we all had to deal with in 2020, no one had a chance to fully assess who their MILB prospects really are, and this gives everyone the opportunity to hold all.
I don't think there would be much objection to increasing the MILB, as it is an integral part of this league and I believe managers enjoy it.

That is a interesting and good suggestion. The only downside would be the available minors would be thin. But there will always be some available.
Would this be permanent or just for 2022?

I still think there will be plenty of MILB talent to go around, plus we always have a new wave of players every year with the Amateur Draft and international guys.

Some of us need an expanded MiLB/Amateur simply because we were under that impression before the season started and during. I personally accumulated a few more draft picks than the next owner with the idea of loading up my farm system for once via the draft. I agree that there is always more prospects to go around as well mainly because we all have various sources to pick from.

That sounds fine with me. I think it’s a good idea.
