Okay we decided to make the playoffs more MLB authentic. So we will have 8 teams make the playoffs. 2 Division winners and 2 Wild Card winners in each League. The lowest seed Wild Card winner will play the highest seed Division winner. Will be 3 rounds...Division Championship, League Championship, and World Series.
Depending on what Yahoo allows us to do but I am going to try to make teams play their own division more than they would play the other division. My goal would be to maybe play everyone in your own Division 3 times and the other Division once and some Interleague games in there during the season. Make it where the NL West will play the AL West one year and the AL East the next year.

Okay my friends. I found out that we probably willl have to leave Yahoo after this year. I just did some research and it looks like we are not allowed to edit playoff schedules. I thought we could since I edited the regular season schedules.
Yahoo asked me how many playoff teams and how many weeks for the playoffs. We have it in our league that we have 4 teams from each league with the 2 division winners and 2 wild card winners. And the World Series is the winner of the National League and American League. But I noticed that Yahoo will take the top 4 wild card teams from any league. So Yahoo has it set that it could take all 4 wild card teams be from one league if it falls that way.
Also, we want the top seed National League division winner play the lowest seed National League wild card winner in each league. Same thing for the American League. But I think Yahoo has it set for the #1 plays #8.
If the matchup do not fall in place the way we need them we have 2 options. We can continue to use Yahoo and we take each team and match them up on Proboards and I will update the scoring every night. For example, I'll post the matchup points like who what team is winning what category. Like the Cubs are going to be playing the Marlins so if you want to see who is leading in AVG you will have to go to each of their Yahoo matchup and compare. 2nd option I just thought of is we use Fantrax for the playoffs. We can transfer the 8 teams rosters and settings and make the schedule the way we need it. It also could be a sample for Fantrax.

I have to say that the features are awesome. You have all your MiLB and MLB players on one page. Can literally change everything and do all the things that we want to do. They definitely improved since last year. And as far as I can see, it is for free. We do not need the premium features for this league. We will still have the MLML for all contracts and stuff, but everything else is there. We could run all trades via Fantrax, which would be fantastic.  |

Maybe we can talk about the league tool after the season is over? We'll have plenty of time I think the problem here is the seeding for the playoffs, which begin next week, it would make matchups wrong and needs to be fixed ASAP |

Fantrax is set up. We will be sending out a invite soon. We will have to set up our lineups through there. Yahoo will nothave the matchups correctly. Please download the Fantrax App now if you can for next week's matchups.

Yeah we are just using Fantrax for the playoffs. yahoo will still be working just not the right martchups so don't pay attention to Yahoo starting Sept 7th

I retract my statement before. Deciding this the day before the playoffs and not making everyone learn a new website and not having everything ready for the playoffs is just a bad decision.
