The trade for me is a simple, I need a 2nd option in CF as Andrew McCutchen is going to lose his eligibility there next season. I'm also hoping Almora gets to be an everyday starter player too. With Archer coming off the DL I can afford to reluctantly let Gray go, I think Vince Velasquez has some serious stuff and is learning how to pitch effectively but I have to bolster my position players a little.
