This was brought up as a suggestion so I wanted to put it to a vote. As a reminder we need 75% in favor to pass the rule change. Right now the rule states that once you accept a arbitration player or a option on a player, and then trade them, the receiving team has no choice on accepting or declining the player.
The new rule suggestion is to allow the receiving team to possiblility reverse the decision and be allowed to choose.
For example, Cubs accept Player X. Later in the offseason the Cubs trade Player X to the Rockies. Rockies now choose if he wants to accept the player or decline the player.
