I accept this trade. I hate giving up 2 elite players but I need salary relief and this helps quite a bit. I get some quality players in return. This is my 3rd time acquiring Strickland in a trade. Maybe I should keep him this time? I feel like Siegrest and Strickland with their holds can make up for losing Kimbrel saves. Gomes does not come close to Posey but I get some much needed pitching. I like Lynn if he can stay healthy and continue where he left off in 2015. Hopefully Folty can continue to grow and become a decent pitcher some day. Nice dealing with you Stu.

To be honest here, I'm still on the fence about this trade. Bryan and I have spoken about Posey for well over 6 months in our many conversations but just the past few days this trade came together. I have told myself for 24 months that I'm all in for 2017 and this trade pretty much solidifies that idea. I have gutted my farm system while collecting high priced hitters this off season. I'm hoping this works for me and if it doesn't then I still have solid MLB talent and a slew of draft picks in the upcoming draft. With the acceptance of this trade it pretty much removes me from free agency. Hopefully this works out for me.
