My suggestion would be the following: *All Players on your MLB roster must have 1 AB / 1/3 IP or must be on the 25 man roster with their "real life" major league team what i dont like about this is sometimes in real life a guy is called up , then a couple days later sent down without ever having played an ab or ip , if u have him on ur mlb roster when he is sent down u are now at risk of losing him Cubs mentioned having a week buffer for people to bring them back down. I am sure we can all agree the owner should be given a warning during the week

Well I think we should have a week or even 2 week time after they are demoted to give the manager's enough time to make the necessary changes.

Ken, I do think your idea is a good one but I think it would lead to more work trying to keep track of the players and counting for me and Hannes. During the year we are working hard to keep up with updating the MLML and Yahoo on a daily basis to keep up and then we are needing to keep count on the MLML as well. I don't know if we would be putting too many rules in place that way. It may be something to consider if people are in favor of it or like it but it doesn't stop the teams from loading 20 prospects on the MLB.

I have mentioned this to you and Hannes before but I am willing to help with anything. If this is something you guys like I can help with it or anything else you guys think you might need help with.

this is sumthin that can also be done on the milb master list only , each time a player is moved from the mlb master to the milb master just change the number in parenthesis next to his name , once that number hits (3) he is no longer eligible .... and if washington is willing to take on the task that would be great too , as i said , this system works like a charm in the other league ,
i see the main problem here is the extra work of monitoring and maintaining the promo/demo moves ,

Great question. Well we have to have some wiggle room of course. For example, your prospect gets promoted to the MLB on Monday you can promote him to the MLB so you can use him for the first game. So I would think maybe you call him up he has to have a AB or IP in a week before you have to send him back down or risk losing him? We are trying to eliminate players that are in single A from being on your MLB roster. I say we probably could post a link to a report when a rookie is getting called up, this way we'll be able to assure that only players that will be called up get added to the MLB. As for the time, I feel one week is more than enough, rookies who only get called up to fill a roster spot with no AB are pretty rare, and teams don't usually keep them for more than a couple of days because of their service time
