I suppose if it was allowed that during a team's selection they simply say where the player is intended to be placed. I agree with Ken about placing the higher picks into MILB first and the lesser picks in the low minors.
Just a little forward thinking here, I can see a mad dash on people picking up the remaining draftees after the completion of the draft. There might need to be some discussion bout how the league will handle the events after the draft is completed. Just a few ideas off the top of my head are:
-- Delay any claims for maybe 48 hours so the ML can be updated;
-- Maybe utilize the MILB waiver claim listing allowing teams who have the top claims to make the first claims. I'm not sure if it resets every year;
