After a very turbulent first offseason we are approaching our second season. 

To make it easier for you, here are a few things that you should keep in mind. 

1. MLB Free Agents have to be auctioned. You cannot add players to Yahoo, only Commissioners can.
As last year I will update once a day (mostly arround 2am EST, which is when I get up). Also rememberthat during
the season you can't drop a player and bid on them until another team owns them or until 30 days.


2. The IFA Auctions will close with Opening Day. So if you want a IFA you better start the auction soon.
All players not auctioned off by then will be eligible for next years IFA Auction.

3. If you make a trade that includes MLB players please create the trade on Yahoo yourself.

4. Everyone gets $15,000 for each category win every week. 

5. Please do check ProBoards regularly over the next couple of weeks as we have some votings that have to be done
to further improve the league. A few votings are up already so please make sure you vote. 

6. We also have a trade deadline, so make sure you do not miss that.

7. MiLB Adds can be made throughout the whole season. Except players that are part of the 2016 draft. So no high
school or college guys. You can add all players that have signed with an MLB organization.

8. As for future IFA Auctions and MLB Draft eligible IFAs we will follow these guidelines starting with opening day:
If the player is under the age of 18 he is eligible for the MiLB Draft only. Everyone above the age of 18 will be part
of the IFA Auctions. If you see any players that I have to put on the list please let me know.

Just a reminder, please vote and leave your opinion on why you voted if you like. Please be respectful to each other's opinion. This isn't suppose to be a argument or putting down each other.

Some might question why we some rules or ideas are voted upon and some are immediately put into effect. These are considered improvements or ideas and should be voted upon by the whole league. Things that we could live without and things that one might think its good but 10 think its bad. There are also times that we need a decision and a rule change instantly. Voting can take up to a couple weeks to come to a 75% decision. Like the auction rules with getting rid of the 5 bid max rule, that needed to be addressed immediately cause there were active bidding going on that could be affected by this rule.

We as officials aren't trying to hurt this league we are taking suggestions by league members and simply putting them to a league vote. If anyone has any suggestions please bring them up to either myself, Hannes, Ralph (Red Sox), or Ryan (White Sox). Let any of us know if you have any ideas on how to improve this league.
