claim jorge polanco / min / 2b, ss , 3b it has been over 24 hours since he surpassed the 130 bat limit and still shows on the new york yankees milb roster .... no posts have been made to protect this player so i will claim him to my mlb roster and drop patrick corbin to accommodate this roster addition Doesn't work that way, if a player surpasses the innings/at bats threshold then you must start an auction for him if you're interested, you can't just claim him |

Doesn't work that way, if a player surpasses the innings/at bats threshold then you must start an auction for him if you're interested, you can't just claim him 7.3. Minor League Roster Eligibility: A player is eligible to be on the minor league roster while the following conditions apply: a. If the player has not yet surpassed 130 at-bats innings pitched or 50 innings pitched he is eligible for the Minor League Roster. Players under these limits may be promoted and/or demoted at any time as long as they remain under the limits. All promotions/demotions need to be noted in the Minor League Transaction thread. b. If players surpass the 50 inning/130AB totals, they cannot be maintained on a minor league roster. These players are eligible to be claimed by any team, however cannot be claimed until 24 hours after the date they passed the limit at 9pm EST. this gives the owner sufficient time to activate the player. read part (b) above , where it says these players are eligible to be claimed by any team .... i claimed him to my mlb roster as the rule states , it does not state that u must bid for the player at auction Actually, this is exactly the problem that we had before. I know you have not been here since the beginning, but you do have to open an auction. That is the only way to add a player to MLB. LAD is correct. We have stated many times through this season that rules will be written more clearly this offseason. Secondly, we used to approach Hannes or Bryan about taking someone off another person's roster so they could start the auction. Either way, this needs to be a bid. |
