RED SOX WIN
1st Place: Boston Red Sox
2nd Place: Washington Nationals
3rd Place: New York Yankees
Well guys, season one is in the book.
The Red Sox were able turned into bombers and slugged 16 Homeruns in the final scoring period. Washington had the edge in ERA, WHIP and Ks but
the Sox were able to get one more Quality Start to secure the win. Great strategy as well as year long performance by these two teams.
And what a season it has been. It was a real rollercoaster of emotions. What started as a little idea in my head turned into this big thing that I am emotionally
heavily invested in. I am sure you guys sometimes had questions about the decisions we made, but none of those decisions were ever made to harm or sabotage
any teams. However, the positive moments outweigh the negative by a ton. I am glad that Bryan and me started this league and I think with all the littel changes
this offseason and a re-start on Yahoo we will be set for years.
Also, all you guys did a fantastic job this year with ProBoards and being patient with the sudden changes and always participating in league votes.
Okay, so lets get the offseason started. This are the things every manager has to do now:
- Roster Move Threads and Trades are not allowed.
- Once all managers did the tasks, trading will be allowed again.
- There will be no trading during the draft. Roster moves will be allowed.
- DL spots will stay the same during the offseason.
- Incentives for MVP, Cy Young and others will be paid once they are announced.
- Draft start will be the 17th of October (Noon EST)
Please do the following tasks.
Once you are done quickly comment in this thread that you are done so that we can unlock trading and roster moves before the draft starts.
1. Check your MLB and MiLB (+ DEV Roster) on the MLML and send me a PM if something needs to be fixed.
2. Player Option decisions are not due until March 1st. However, they can be posted right away in the according thread.
3. Check the draft order that will be posted. It took me hours to figure it out and I think there are some mistakes in there. Please post mistakes in the draft order
in the draft thread (Example: if there is a mistake in round 1 then you post in round one what mistake there is).
4. If you drop a top 60 player (Free Agent or Arbitration eligible) according to the Yahoo player ranking you will get a compensation pick for the 2017 draft.
5. Check salaries of players and contract length on Yahoo.
6. Bidding is not allowed until the draft is over.
Once you are done, simply post a small response that you read this and did all the tasks.
Let´s get ready for 2016.
