Kind of silly but if that’s the rule, not a big deal. I’ll still release him and take the penalties each year. I really appreciate you taking an active interest in this and pointing out everything to me. Like I said, if I have to accept the penalty all three years, it’s not a big deal. The trade accomplished what I was looking to do. I had no intention on keeping Rendon. Kind of silly but if that’s the rule, not a big deal. I’ll still release him and take the penalties each year. Well the rule was designed to be as similar to real life as possible , so in real life no club can decline an option on a player in the future then release him and pay no money to the player ? |
