Roster clean-out: Dropping from MLB: Jose Leclerc, Phil Maton, Brandon Finnegan, Luke Voit, James Hoyt all pre-arb. Dropping Eduardo Escobar, Yusmeiro Petit (essentially just declining their options). Dropping Cameron Maybin, Leury Garcia, Alex Meyer and taking all relevant penalties. Dropping Buck Farmer from DEV roster, and absorbing all relevant penalties. Releasing from MINORS: Derian Cruz Roman Quinn Chris Iriart Garrett Cooper Jose Trevino Ben Bowden Will Smith Just to let you know I activated the two players you had on your DL just to clean the roster up That's fine. I had to do the same on yahoo, just to have enough spots. I actually didn't drop Alex Meyer on yahoo yet for that reason. I'll go ahead and promote Austin Barnes from my DEV just to fill that spot and cut Meyer. |

Just a heads up, adding players to low minors is not allowed, the only time we allow an add to the low minors roster is when we draft or trade newly drafted players, and each team's low minors needs to be emptied before the next draft (so you either call up your low minors to the minors or drop them). Would you like to do the drop anyways or do you want to keep those players? |
